Vanilla cake with buttercream filling and icing. Covered in blue fondant.
California roll pieces were made from marshmallows covered in black fondant and topped with coconut and red, green, and yellow buttercream accents.
Nigiri pieces were pieces of white fondant rolled in coconut and topped with fondant shrimp and snow pea.
The chopsticks, bowl of soy sauce, ginger, wasabi, and stars on the side of the cake were al made froml colored pieces of fondant.
The bamboo border at the base was made from green pieces of fondant painted gold.
